Grief and trauma show up in many different ways — through loss, early experiences, health challenges, or the everyday pressures of being human. My work focuses on holding space for the pain you carry while helping you find steadiness, connection, and ways forward.
-
Grief can feel overwhelming, whether your loss was recent or long ago. I have particular experience supporting people through sudden, complicated, or traumatic losses. In therapy, I offer a safe space to hold the pain, love, and change that come with loss — while finding ways to cope and carry your story forward.
-
Early experiences shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. When those experiences involve neglect, instability, or harm, it can leave lasting patterns of fear, shame, or difficulty in relationships. In therapy, we’ll work on building safety, self-compassion, and healthier ways of relating — both to yourself and the people around you.
-
Living with health challenges or medical trauma can leave you feeling unheard, exhausted, and uncertain. In therapy, we’ll focus on support, self-advocacy, and finding steadiness in the midst of ongoing challenges.
-
From identity and relationships to motherhood, body image, and life transitions — women often carry invisible burdens. Therapy offers a space to explore your needs, set boundaries, and reconnect with your sense of self.
My Style
I don’t believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. My therapy philosophies pull from a humanistic and strengths-based perspective. Together, we’ll figure out what type of therapy fits your needs best.
I will show up as a human in the therapy room. I believe therapy is relational, and I strive to make my office a place where you feel comfortable, safe, and affirmed in who you are. My clients have described me as warm, open-minded, and gently direct.
I use the following evidence-based modalities in my work:
Internal Family Systems
EMDR (in training)
Narrative Therapy
Somatic/Body Based
Written Exposure Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ages 4-21)
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
