Safe to Bloom Therapy is located on Indigenous land connected to the Susquehannock, Lenape, Haudenosaunee, and Nanticoke peoples.
We acknowledge the history and ongoing impact of colonization, forced displacement, violence, and land theft. Indigenous people are not only part of history; Indigenous communities are still here, carrying culture, sovereignty, resistance, grief, and care forward.
For us, acknowledgment is only a beginning. We believe healing work must include truth-telling, humility, and a commitment to justice. We encourage our community to keep learning, support Indigenous-led organizations, stand with land and water protectors, advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, Two-Spirit, and Relatives, and move beyond words toward repair.
